Charitable Organizations, Law, and Society

Considering the vast number of charitable organizations woven into our society, understanding the law that governs charities has become more important than ever. Jill R. Horwitz (UCLA Law) and Marion R. Fremont-Smith (Harvard Kennedy School) provide a glimpse into how the Restatement of the Law, Charitable Nonprofit Organizations will bring greater understanding to the complex area of law of charitable nonprofits. Horwitz and Fremont-Smith serve as Reporter and Consultant, respectively, for this Restatement.
